About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Measurement Technician with expert competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. In this role, you will work closely with production, quality functions, and design teams, with a clear responsibility for driving measurement-related issues throughout the entire manufacturing process.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Drive measurement-related issues during Request for Quotation (RFQ) and order reviews
• Provide support in reading drawings during manufacturing
• Train personnel in drawing interpretation, as well as form and position tolerances
• Further train inspectors in the use of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and measuring arms
• Offline programming of CMM and measuring arms
• Participate in the development of measurement protocols
• Perform measurements using measuring arms and CMM
• Calibration of measuring instruments
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to efficient resource utilization of energy and raw materials
• You have the authority to stop production or delivery in the event of quality deviations.

Location: Motala

Working Hours: Day shift, Monday – Friday

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with expert competence in reading and interpreting drawings, and who is confident working with advanced measurement equipment such as CMMs and measuring arms. You have experience in offline programming of measurement equipment and are accustomed to working with high precision in technically demanding environments.

You are communicative, pedagogical, and have the ability to explain technical contexts to others. Naturally, you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in training or mentoring colleagues, as well as if you have worked within heavy or advanced industry.
